Analysis
This was an eagerly
anticipated Visa Bulletin, but it disappointed.
MU continues to believe that the State Department will need to
aggressively accelerate the dates in the next few months in order to ensure
that all visas are used in fiscal year 2020.
The fact that the State Department did not include any comments at the
end of the Visa Bulletin, after such a long delay in publication, was also
discouraging. MU will be asking
questions to the DOS in order to try and get more answers. We will publish those answers as they become
available.
what is the possibility that it will move in the next months? is there a chance even if they have used up this fiscal yr's visas?
ReplyDeleteI do think that it will progress in the next months.
DeleteI heard that they will expedite visa processing for Healthcare workers. How will that be possible if eb3 remains at Jan 2017 and an individual awaiting interview date?
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean that if you file your I-40 this month of april , it wont take 5 months or more to wait for the approval ?
DeleteNo - the expedite is only for those with an approved I-140 and a current priority date.
DeleteIt is still retrogression based on May VB. Does it mean it will not move until Sept VB which is the last month of this fiscal year?
ReplyDeleteNo. The VB should move before Sept VB.
DeleteHi atty.
ReplyDeleteDoes the may vb means that they are fixing everything so that by nxt vb it may become current for some countries since nurses are in demand right now in usa?
Not necessarily. The VB is not reflective of the current demand for nurses in the US. Stay tuned.
DeleteHave you heard about the petition of CGFNS to the us congress regarding extra visas for nurses?
ReplyDeleteGood day atty.
ReplyDeleteWould it be possible for I-140 petition to get approval less than 5 months? I mean that theres no need to wait for that long for approval. Will they approve petitions faster than before?
Anything is possible but there are no expected processing times with the suspension of premium processing.
Deletewhy does India's VB move if there are no visas available? please enlighten me atty.
ReplyDeletethank you!
There are visas available.
